I made the drawing of the townhouses and the street from my imagination. First, I drew the buildings and the street with a pencil on a piece of drawing block paper. I used a second sheet of paper on which I had the perspective convergence points drawn.

The next stage consisted of transferring a photo of my drawing to the computer, re-drawing it in a graphics program, and correcting some of the proportion and perspective errors I made in the hand drawing. The attached photos show each of the stages.

This artwork was done in three stages. First I drew a sketch using a pencil. Then I sketched the sketch with a fineliner. I scanned the finished sketch and started to redraw it again with a pen using a graphic tablet.

Especially the last stage, when I was drawing lines on the tablet with my pen to darken the outlines, correct them, remove ink stains in different places and add a few details, took many hours, many hours. Fortunately, I reached the final. Greetings! 🙂

Ship at sea. My first and last artwork for Inktober 2017 year. For the first time I finished my drawing for many years. Although I did only 1 out of 30 drawings, I came back to drafting with the traditional pencil and fineliner 0,2 mm method.
